Im lost for words
for words fail me
Im sick of words
for they hail and flail
and assail me
they rise up
and derail me
theyre driven home
and they nail me
words kick and prick
theyre slick
and they trick
words cut to the quick
they faze and craze
and daze me
words amaze me
they help me feel
bid me kneel
and they heal me
words reveal me
words astound me
words ground me
words have found me
Id be lost without words
words be praised
for words raised me

Hi Brian. When it's a song, I always like to try to sing it! I'm going for Bryan Ferry/Bob Dylan/James Taylor type of thing!! (They are probably not anything like each other!)

I think this works well with the rhymes.

Yes, we'd all be lost without them!

Aha, now Joanie's gone and said it, I heard the inimitable Brian Ferry crooning it to me too. Worked though. This love song's pretty alright.
