I never found the right
wrong words to say
as you lay on the bench
with the pretence of sleep

good if the cows stopped
from the munch to make milk
and yet I saw him come early
earnest and early this Ernie

but your face opened
like a banana bake
the raging wrong
and the low of kaleamia

and I said it to him
with the smell of an ape
he who knew no grace
no social no being
