Surrealism Poem 1
The grapevine said that it has a
comfortably numb, suspicious mind,
chased by Puff the Magic Dragon,
down a Street with no name,
where life on Mars goes on,
like it did, Yesterday.
Penny Lane gives enough
Good Vibrations for a Priest
to lose his Religion.
Whilst I am growing a Beard of Stars,
sporting a hat of the Moon,
spouting nonsense about time.
I have an ocean in my belly button,
a Universe waiting to be posted,
God is speaking through my radio,
using the voice of John Humphries,
and I am growing a beard of Stars,
they twinkle in the space
between the Mirror and the razor Blade.
The grapevine said that it has a
comfortably numb, suspicious mind,
chased by Puff the Magic Dragon,
down a Street with no name,
where life on Mars goes on,
like it did, Yesterday.
Penny Lane gives enough
Good Vibrations for a Priest
to lose his Religion.
Whilst I am growing a Beard of Stars,
sporting a hat of the Moon,
spouting nonsense about time.
I have an ocean in my belly button,
a Universe waiting to be posted,
God is speaking through my radio,
using the voice of John Humphries,
and I am growing a beard of Stars,
they twinkle in the space
between the Mirror and the razor Blade.
