Weary Angel

O weary angel, save me
I am falling from my grace
But your arms are too decayed
To catch me at this pace

O weary angel, hold me
Protect me from my sins
But your shelter is too beaten
To stop my darkness breaking in

O weary angel, kiss me
Resuscitate my blackened soul
But your breath is far too faint
And my heart remains cold

O weary angel, feed me
Fill my famished body with life
But your food is far too putrid
And the contamination is Rife

O weary angel, change me
Rework my bleak wiring
But your mind is too degenerated
And my will is tiring

O weary angel, stop me
Take this dagger from my hands
But your strength is far too weak
Life slips away like grains of sand

O weary angel, leave me
Let me hide in my dark place
But your communal nature prohibits you
To bequeath me my vital space
