Summary: A poem about a man's final hour

My world enchained in tears dies,
Angels pray again,
Demons wait beneath the skies
To take at last their gain.

The blood is cold and running slow,
A shadow tall I see-
Sorrow comes to take my soul
And now, and now I'm free!
