Too Late to Talk

He closed his eyes and took his final breath.
Life is for those that live it,
Not for those that tear the soul of their being.

He whose rational fear transcends to others as irrational stupidity,
He who fears the judgement of his peers, his family, his loves.
He who stunts the growth of inevitable prolonged misery,
He who fears the first tear falling.

He will always be in silence

There standing before you
A fallen empty man.

So who ignored the silence of his words?
Who dared to believe they knew his thought?
Who dared to deny him?
Who left him, his soul and heart in tatters?

Too scared to speak
No bone of malice in his body
A sadness of circumstance
Morally no escape
His final words will echo in the minds of those he leaves

I’m sorry
So sorry
