Waves as brittle as glass
Pierce the water's surface
And shine in the sun.

They are mirrors to my eyes:
Sharp shards glistening
In the glaring sun.

I am blind, deaf and dumb.

But these white horses
Gallop dark waters
And leave hoof prints in the sun.
