A Messy Room

Small room, dim light won’t lift my gloom,
Music playing, people laughing but can’t hear what their saying,
Channel flicking, room so quiet can hear the clock ticking.

Staring round this messy room,
Party’s over, am all alone.

Wanting to speak out for this generation, trying to make them see,
We’re not happy; it’s an abomination,
Drowning in a sea of mediocrity.

The party’s over am all alone.

Trudging round my hometown, face in constant frown,
I hate what happens in this town,
Let’s get together and burn the fucker down.

Starting round this messy room.
