Seasons

First comes white winter, cold as steel
Then the hint of springtime, that makes one reel.
With icicles melting, slowly, with a murmur
Ahead of the glowing bright days of summer.

Then come the rains, descending from high heaven
When the earth cleanses and all things leaven.
Then come the welcoming shades of Autumn
And breezy leaves descending earth in a faint hum.

Then the winter twilight meets with darker nights
This beauty far away, a heavenly sight.
Oh, how our world grows into every season
A creation, truly beyond any reason.
