Meet the Artists seminar: Shape Commissions

Friday 26th September

Shape has commissioned four deaf or disabled arts practitioners to develop work that responds to the themes of the Cultural Olympiad.

You are invited to join us for this seminar to meet the artists and hear about their work, celebrating the launch of the Cultural Olympiad.

Hear from Kazzum Theatre Company (Street Arts commission), StopGAP Dance Company (Dance commission), Liz Bentley (Spoken Word / Poetry commission) and Aaron Williamson (Visual Arts / Media commission) in conversation about their work.

As well as introducing you to the commissions, Shape will share best practice on how to commission deaf and disabled artists. And you can also have your say on what the Olympics mean to you!

When

Friday 26th September

2pm to 4pm, followed by a drinks reception
