Neruda and the Ibero-American Poetry of the 20th Century
Hailed by fellow Nobel Prize Winner Gabriel García Márquez as ‘the greatest poet of the 20th century — in any language’, Pablo Neruda is without a doubt one of the most emblematic figures in Latin American literature. Adam Feinstein, biographer and writer of Pablo Neruda: A Passion for Life, Prof. Dominic Moran, Faculty Lecturer in Spanish at Oxford University and Prof. Tom Boll, translator, discuss the influence of Neruda’s life and work on the literary and political stage of the 20th century.
