WW member has TV success with Shoot The Writers

  Posted on 31/05/2005

Writewords member Ben Langley is one of only 60 writers nationwide to have had sketches selected for the next series of ‘Shoot the Writers’. Four of Ben’s sketches will be featured in the show, and he will also appear in a video introduction. The format of the show has changed significantly from last year, where each episode featured numerous sketches each from different writers. This time, each week only six writers will be showcased, each having four sketches appear. At the end of the show lines will be open for voting, with the winner going on to semi-finals towards the end of the series. “I’m absolutely thrilled,” said Ben, “I can’t wait to see them. It’s great to get some of my work broadcast, and with a bit of luck hopefully I’ll do well with the vote.”

Shoot the Writers is to air on ITV1 in the autumn.
