Oonah V Joslin

I was born in Ballymena, N. Ireland where I took a joint honours in French and Education. After that, I lived in South Wales for fourteen years, where I got married. Now we now live in Northumberland. I have had the privilege of living in three of the most beautiful areas in Britain.

I taught for 28 years, French, English, R.E. and eventually Special Needs students, which involves teaching across the entire curriculum in mainstream schools.

I have always dabbled at writing. Now in my fifties, I decided to take it a step further and I love it. I have been very encouraged to find that other people appreciate my stories and poems too.

I was excited to win the Micro Horror Trophy 2007, I have been interviewed as most read at Every Day Fiction and have been included in Bewildering Stories 4th Quarterly Review '07 and 1st '08. I am also guest judge in The Shine Poerty Competition. All this in one year!

I hope that you will stay and browse the links I have put up to some of my published works or go to my CV and leave a message on this site.

Thank you for reading.
