A film of miraculous beauty, and the most moving that I have seen in years. It's a story about our need for stories, and their power to heal, transform, liberate and save; it shows how myth can tell greater truths than 'the truth'. Above all, it's about our need for each other, an other; if the stories don't teach you to live more completely and sensitively, then they are useless. Sometimes they help us die better, too. The audience roared with laughter, gasped in amazement and wept openly. The last 15 minutes will have you sobbing. Sublime.
