A heart warming and often very humourous tale about the ups and downs of being in love with a CDP - Chrono Displaced Person. Henry is a time traveller; but rather than being a sci-fi adventure it's a genetic disorder that catapaults him through time without warning.
So Henry, aged about 38 meets Clare when she's 6 and marries her when he's 30 and she's 22. Confused? You will be, but it's an intriguing idea and one that Nifenegger manipulates with ease and plausibility.
