The film of the TV series, now set in America and starring Robert Downey Jr in the Michael Gambon role as Dan Dark.
A very good adaptation - in 1 1/2 hours of what was over 8 hours of television ( The DVD of the TV series was released today.) The film, I thought, was easier to understand than the TV series, but still has that mixture of surreal and just believable that perhaps epitomises Dennis Potter's work. Well worth watching.
