Sarah is an award-winning writer whose fiction appears in Smokelong Quarterly, The Fish Anthology 2008, Prick of the Spindle, The Best of Every Day Fiction, and in the Crime Writers’ Association anthology, MO: Crimes of Practice. A column about the wartime experiences of her mother, who was a child internee of the Japanese, was published in the Spring 09 edition of Foto8 Magazine.
Sarah was the Most Read Author at Every Day Fiction during their inaugrual year, and has four stories in their Best of anthology. The Subatomic anthology, One Step Beyond, features her story, LoveFM. She was awarded the title of Litopian Laureate in 2007 for The Chaperon.
Sarah was a highly commended runner-up in the Biscuit Short Story Contest 2008, and will be published in the Leaf Nano Fiction Contest Anthology 2009.
