Sarah is an award-winning writer whose fiction appears in Smokelong Quarterly, The Fish Anthology 2008, Wigleaf, LITnIMAGE, Word Riot, Prick of the Spindle, The Best of Every Day Fiction, and in the Crime Writers’ Association anthology, MO: Crimes of Practice. A column about the wartime experiences of her mother, who was a child internee of the Japanese, was published in the Spring 09 edition of Foto8 Magazine and in Bristol Review of Books Autumn 09.

Sarah was the Most Read Author at Every Day Fiction during their inaugrual year, and has four stories in their two Best of anthologies. She was awarded the title of Litopian Laureate in 2007 for The Chaperon.

Sarah was a highly commended runner-up in the Biscuit Short Story Contest 2008, received an Honourable Mention in Prick of the Spindle's Fiction Open Contest 2009 and will be published in the Leaf Nano Fiction Contest Anthology 2009.

Most recently Sarah's work was Highly Commended in the Aesthetica Creative Works Contest and nominated for the prestigious Pushcart Prize.
