I never thought of indecisiveness as fear before; this makes the point very succinctly - and poetically.

I love the structure of this. Works well.

Scared? Someone once said everyday one should always do something that scares them. I think this is very true. Another quote that sprung to mind: 'Only those willing to risk not knowing the consequences, are truly free.' And, finally, the fear of doing something is always worse than the reality.

That's my penny's worth!

Hello Stuart.

This is brilliant in its simplicity and can relate to happiness in a similar way. Og Mandino - who wrote my most favourite book in the world "The Choice" says in its pages - "one person marries to be happy, another divorces to be happy, one goes home to be happy, another flees to be happy". Your poem put me in mind of that and says a huge amount in a very few well chosen words. Like it very much.
