The Only Child

once she was infinitely recurring
now she is nil, minus imploding

into the negative subtraction of memory
a house of birthday cards collapsing down

I am still her one and only multiple child
love's singularity still working out the sum

once I was infinitely recurring
now I am remaindered to one.

Hi John, I like this very much, but I'm still trying to work it out. (Never good with numbers, me.)

Hmmm? Read "My Father, myself, our holy ghost", but no real guidance to de-code?

However, do like the cadence and the juxtaposition of the numeric with the emotive.
