Cream eggs round and fat
Some I share with my cat

The soft centre is so yummy
You can even eat them if you’re gummy

The outside chocolate is so tasty
I’ll eat it now I won’t be hasty

I wish I could eat my cream eggs all day
Then I will be happy, good and gay!

Lou

very funny although I hate creme ( cadbury spelling) eggs

in the penultimate line try taking the word '(b) my (/b) out altogether i think you may find it scans better and it isnt needed.

Also good to see the old meaning of the last word of the poem being used , well i assume it is the old meaning if not I am glad I dont like cream eggs

nice poem take care

You've definitely outdone cadbury's here because I can keep reading this poem and smiling, and with creme eggs I get to about 3 and definitely am not smiling any more... oh, the memories. Wouldn't recommend eating them all day to any one...
As for the last word... You spoil sport David. And there's me contemplating sending a big box of them to Mary Stuart Masterson ;D

It's a lovely poem Lou. Thanks for the smiles
