The Pussycat & The Queen.
Pussycat, pussycat, where have you been?
I’ve been to see the maypole queen.
Pussycat, pussycat, why did you go?
To steal her crown, to watch the show.
Pussycat, pussycat, how did she act?
She tried to tease, she tried to distract.
And as the crown came into view,
Pussycat, pussycat, what did you do?
I danced with her, she felt divine,
Then I took the gold making it mine.
Pussycat, pussycat, tell me how?
I made an incision above her brow.
Pussycat, pussycat, what of the blood?
I licked it clean, it tasted good.
Pussycat, pussycat, have you no fear?
Why should I worry, no one is near.
Your eyes are wild, please do pause,
Pussycat, pussycat retract your claws.
Claws my dear? But this is a knife,
Now be a good queen and run for your life.
