Green and graceful necks
none the same way turned
aloof
aloft, and poised.
Their bashful brethren hide;
they bide their time
hold their breath
and rest.
Six pointed lemon stars
of spring
Golden centred marvels
Proud, perfect things.

I really like this piece, it's simple, unpretencious and cheerful. I especially like

"Six pointed lemon stars of spring"

you immediately picture the exact likeness of the flower head.

Thank you for a bright glimpse of spring to come!
