KING SOLOMON

At the appearance of the creator.

You seek for wisdom

So were you blessed with

Knowledge

and more, abundance of wealth.

Such the world could not have

Contained

You sit on earth like a mortal

governing over land, sea, river surf

And snow.

At the mercy of your wisdom,

you scribed the books of proverbs

In hastiness

for the love you proclaimed,

you acclaimed its value in

Song of Songs.

Ecclesiastics declared the

impious for the worth of life.

in spite

of all the awareness you gifted

to the world, much you abandoned

the moment you let

your eyes roam and your heart wanders.

Like your forefather, Adam, you swallowed

the forbidden fruit.

Where could you be, King Solomon?

Would it be in the heaven at the

Right hand of the Father

Whom you had rebelled against?

Alternatively, are you dwelling in hell?

governing over delikes?

Who am I to judge except to pray

you a perfect rest in peace
