When you come into the room,
I shake.

When you are in the room,
I’m fake.

When you walk into the room,
I’m mistaken…

Always one mistake.

Just getting around to commenting - this seemed quite a neat and enigmatic little poem. 'I'm mistaken...' leaves us to work out what the speaker is mistaken about. My own vast experience of what goes on between men and women leads me to guess it means that this one time, when she enters the room, he fails to read her mood - a mistake that can lead to serious consequences. But it might mean something different to someone else.

James.
