This piece and/or subsequent comments may contain strong language.

Please be aware that I have written this piece colloquially as a matter of style. My intent was to create a spoken-piece, communicate to 'John' and 'Jane' whilst promoting sub-textual thought. I have also invented one or two words purely to satisfy my own urge to be creative whilst being creative. I have written numerous other pieces, in various styles, with both differing intentions and subject matter (...s?). I would therefore like to stress that this piece does not reflect my writing style as a whole. I was merely trying something a little different. Any feedback (positive or negative) as well as requests for explanation will be most welcome and duly answered.

If a nail in the wall can be called art...

WALLET, PURSE, read all about it
Seaseme Street, but dont count it
the horse is high from these fumes
but we mount it as a nation
with our attitudes akin to inflation
peoples values have changed
the pound has no value
but we value it all the same
my game?
im calling my girl a tease and buying new jeans
I hear that im looking in the wrong direction
im blind to the course of cause that I WOB'T see
nuff wars, poverty and disease
but not on our streets, please(!)
when we have brothers starving with no peas
there's too much sour for the sweet
our pains are growing like the chinese
its cold in lonDON so why u chattin' breeze?
not enough friendly peeps so we promote enemies
flying planes into towers to make a point
so my point is clear to see
that statue aint liberty
our shanks and bullets don't speak
the big bang didn't take away ability to breath
so why must we
...claim we run the streets but with lame feet
no chivalry in speech
turning chicken whenever the chicks tweet
life, regrets, no fame, no name then; deceased
make yourself someone that people wanna meet
wasting our opportunities
all the cards in our hands and we folding
oh ****! G(0)od?
it's like blasphemy with irony
half the world is broken
living a toy life
crying a river doesn't work
our cities are smoking, we're chokin'
floods of tears and still crippling drought
our lives are a petty thing to complain about
I must shout
we've stigmatize the enigmatised
our brothers and sisters don't have food for their mouths
I call this 'riddim' food for thought
wanting versus the needing
im not going to retort these words
your minds distort, cos
you only know what YOU'VE learnt
if you learn you know more
your not dark or bright your sun-burnt
there's no holiday associated with this last resort
we let the ship sale from the port with titanic effect
we recycle money amongst ourselves and then talk of self respect
while there's world debt
but since when did bronze count?
over politicized this mess
comfort in religious dialect
but our affections digress
people everyday having their last supper
cos they don't know when its coming next
we need to find a method for these many to protect their neck
we don't recycle shit but unless its suffering in life
sex aids kids aids sex aids kids aids
its the inverse we hide they seek
we die but WE play life with no reply
paper controls a life, its time we repay, you see?
We limit the sky with brains
the sun sets after its raised but we are slaves to artificial days
sun bathe whilst we destroy our own place
Am i the only lost boy left?
these ways are a disgrace
destroyed by our own suns rays
hurricanes and earthquakes
we HAD all the time in the world
we have no time to waste
for fuck sake, how long must it take
before our minds awake and take stock
if the rich keep flying these planes
the world will get locked-off
no exchange for the lock-stock
just both barrels with no hops
no scotch just a stopwatch
fools acting in persistence trying to find themselves
wally, soon we will all be lost
