Leap Before you Look

The welcome weight of
Thor’s hammer rests
Very comfortably
It has to be said
Between my breasts

Thursday’s child
Has far to go
And make no mistake,
Go she will.

You carouse
You cannot refuse
Non participation
Is not an option.

Challenge everything
Leave no stone unturned
All wayward ways
Lead to the same
Always.

And, as much as you believe
In your uniqueness
While you take your own solitary leap
Into the legendary abyss
Look around
See the souls that surround

Relinquish everything
Your pompous ways
Level yourself to being

You know you want to.

Sounds like a bit of a dare.
I like it.
We all need to be dared.

Fearless

You have reminded me of something a friend said to me years ago, which was probably ripped off from someone else:

"Only those who are willing to risk not knowing the consequences are truly free".

Thank you for reminding me of that.

Walrus - a great wake-up call. Something we should all chant at the beginning of each and every day.
