Ah, the ticky-box brigade! I think we all know what it means. It means people are so busy trying to keep up appearances, the job isn' t getting done.

This is an interesting take on the challenge, Joanie. Standards are an illusion - Yes!!! One hears the teacher in you speaking out! (My parents were teachers, my sisters are. They groan as you do.)
Actually, I think I' d like to share this with my sister in California. She' d appreciate it. Do you mind if I do?

Nella, teaching isn' t the only job where this is going on although it robs teachers of their stregth and creativity. I left. Unfortunately game plan is widespread.
