I write lyrics for a band who always change
From mainstream , blue beat, Jazz and Cream
You cannot imagine what its like to range
from Dylan, on a bad day, to a teen bop dream.
I just go heavy with an urban crack
when the motherfuckers take me to a lonesome track
Where blues is grinding and the freight train wails
Before I Muddy Waters they have trimmed their sails
and wherever I follow It will turn out wrong
A schitzophrenic lyric for their big break song!

Shada doo a wop diddy
Drift entwined in a starless sky
and rolling down to Memphis where my woman lies
Kick the Bitch man, make her cry - uh, aahh

Don't hesitate to recreate a situation where yo all can take

Lets play Lady play, play on my, play on my, play on my big big big big .....................................

Peter

'Dooby dooby doo' (Frank Sinatra): never before had so much been initmated by so few words of authentic NY gibberish.

I like the black rhythm of your piece. In case I hadn't told you before, for what it's worth, I pretty much like everything you write. It contains various shades of the blues.

Couple of typos - should it be 'schizophrenic' on the last line of the first stanza? Oh, and 'Starless' is missing an 's'

Write on Peter.
