Tragic
though I may be,
take your pity eyes elsewhere,
to someone else's lifescape,
someone else's true despair.
oh yes,
I can mend
my own heart,
sticky plasters at my side.
It is they that need you,
crave you,
give to them
your pity eyes.

BoBo

If beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so then is tragedy and pity, non?

GO girl!! (rah, rah or whatever the gesture is?)Yep - self-reliance and healing. Pity for me just leads to more 'tiny tears'.

Superb piece AGAIN!

cheers

Oh bobo, I thought this was the sadest thing I've read for ages...it sounds like you're protesting too much and in great need of a cuddle. Beautifully written but sooooo sad.
