Version II
Speak to me
of spreadsheets
rich with symbol-heavy
formulae.

Taunt me with
your promises of
options; freeze
my frames.

Paint my
clipboard, taste
its settings. Savour
moments saved.

Titillate
my senses
with your cells.

Getting techno-kinky? The balance of the firast stanza was so perfect that

didn't read right to me. But then the rest of it retained that balance. So perhaps that could get a tweak but very good.

I've done one for you but can't put it up til tomorrow.

Excellent, Joanie, a love poem to EXCEL. Love it.
Amazing how you come up with these ideas!

Thanks, Oonah and Robin. Yes, Oonah, I agree; I've changed the second stanza.

Hi Joanie

Once again a very clever idea - like the techno kinky above - maybe a good title???

I am not sure about the 'taste' images in the third verse though - don't see myslef licking the laptop much - but then hey who am I to say what you do in the privacy of your own ......

Enjoyed lots

Hi joanie,

How are you?

I think this is great! It really made me smile.

I think version 1 works best - it seems to run together more smoothly.

I loved this. I'll never be able to look at an EXCEL spreadsheet again without thinking of

and the idea of the titillated senses. Wonderful.
