Looking like the cat
who got the cream
he swaggered down
the aisle
until at just the right
moment he floundered
like a fish out
of water
when he spotted his ex
sitting as pretty
as a rose in a
cabbage patch
and suddenly his nerve
dissolved like snow
out of season.
The guests can
save their rice
for another day.
