I go in the garden
all gone to pot.
One grass root,
little sod.

Lilly went to the valley,
Willow weeps.
Plum is a prune
Virginia creeps.

Cox went with pippin
Rose rambles on.
I want a sweetpea
but must carry on.

Granny gone to smiths,
Grampa drinks the wine.
Poor old grape
never saw the sign.

Basil met Rosemary
Dill in a stew.
So i sit on the box
and pick up the broom.

Whisky Al

I like this; a soap opera in a garden (sounds better than 'Dallas' meets Alan Titchmarsh).

Lovely, nice idea, especially like Granny gone to smiths, and the sweetpea. Little sods eh.

Al - this is delightful. I'm going to send it to my mum as she's an avid gardener!
