Last night I dreamt
of being in love.
Of kissing
and holding her close.
I couldn't quite make out her face,
but it seemed so right.
Her teeth were like tusks,
three feet long
and brilliant white.
It was a dream,
not what I like.

So I'm looking for a girl
with no face,
and tusks.
I would feel no fear,
only love.
If I asked her out,
I'd know she'd say yes.
But all I can do is dream,
as she could not exist.

So now I must sleep,
and hope.
Maybe in my dreams,
I'll chance upon her again
and then,
when I wake,
I'll crack one out.

Loved it, especially:

'I would feel no fear,
only love.
If I asked her out,
I'd know she'd say yes.
But all I can do is dream,
as she could not exist.'

Of course, I really adore the last line.
Write on bro'

deeply strange and oddly moving. like falling in love with a cartoon dog or something- it works in your head but the reality just wouldn't be feasible.

very nice job, splitter.

This makes me think of those kind of dreams when you wake up, and just for a split second, you understand everything, all of life makes sense. Or the kind of dream when you wake and look around your room, and think, this seems just like my room, but it's not, obviously..

Dreams are our biggest love and our biggest nightmare.
Man with no face was mine. Good poem. xAl
