Border case

Am I english
Am I a Scot
thought i was british
find i am not.

Wasn't till granny
sent me money.
Shops wouldn't take it
said it looked fuuny.

Am I Anglo-saxon?
or am I celt
am i a foreigner
thats how it felt.

Eyes of blue.
skin all white
hair is red
It's me all right.

Am I half cast
ask myself.
Or just a border case,
nothing else.

Great! I've seen those Scottish pounds!
I loved the play on words 'border case'.

I had trouble with 'so must be you',
so I took a chance and tried my hand:

Eyes of blue
Skin all white
Hair is red
It's me all right.
