Hi Zettel, I think this is very affecting, and the simplicity is perfect. No waste, no exaggeration, just a very clear and focused point. Definately a poem!

A good poem doesn’t have to be one that the poet has toiled at with furrowed brows. This is a good thought expressed as succinctly as humanly possible. The feeling that comes across is of humility and pride, in equal measure. The poem reads like a sudden realisation, maybe not the first, but this time felt really strongly, perhaps on hearing some good news.
