The day came
we saw
we conquered,
mutual understanding.

We talked until the early hours
music,films,life
world stood still
time was ours.

All too soon
the days they flew
no dissapointment
not in you.

Our friendship bonded
made it stronger
next time
the days will be longer.

how do you write such thought provoking poetry? astounding.

one slight thing that confused me is should there be a comma after conquered in line 3 as it would change the meaning ?

Looks like I rather got the wrong end of the stick with your last one Al :o[ - I'll ware the damn thing out if I'm not careful!

Another good one and my wishes for 'Tomorrow' still stand - Keep on keeping on.
