Never really intended to read all of this script because it is so long but Joey's character pulled me in and I persisted until the end. The hero manifests a very human range of thoughts and behaviour and I warmed to him. One reservation is that, in my estimation, the story line and some of the dialogue lose their edge somewhere near the middle. Another doubt concerns the fantasy scenes - maybe too many with more or less the same message? But film scripts always go through umpteen drafts before the words get anywhere near a camera. I'm no expert in the field but I feel that a few re-workings would make a very interesting story of modern life and youthful alienation. I think the chicken factory image works very well. Definitely worthy of perseverance.
