I am a little girl,
yes I am.
Sit to the table
eat my jam,
count my numbers
1-2-3.
Love my daddy
can't you see,
seven brothers older than me
What A life,
spoilt little girl,
that's me.

Cute poem Stan. Love the rhythm - sort of sing songy and just how a little girl would talk. Did you mean to leave out a question mark in the title? Also, is the girl in question spoilt or appreciative?

Alice, Loved this little number. Rhythm perfect and unusual. Love the way that you've captured the voice of a little girl - full of attitude and lots of love too - that's for sure. Loved 'sit to the table/ eat my jam' Made me smile... Sounds like she's on her best behaviour there! 'spoilt' in a good way and she knows it... Reminded me of my brother... Enjoyed it very much, Miffle ;-)

Hi Alice

I really enjoyed this, reminded me a bit of those Victorian moral verses, you know what I mean? Very cute and pleasant to read but with a deep meaning behind it.
