He gave joy
to all children
with pockets of sweeties,
magical fingers,
a seat on his lap

He caused squeals
of hysterics -
they fell through his knees
their noses nipped off -
a dose of chin-broth

They all loved
Uncle Joe with
his stories to tell;
The Magic Penny
or choose your own subject

That was then.

Before the world discovered paedophiles.

Now Uncle Joe,
Midget Gems in his pocket,
tricks in his fingers
and love in his heart
is just a dirty old man

Joanie,
this got to me.
I know a lot of people who love watching kids play.

Now they can't,just in case they will think a pervert.
Sad those who do love kids should be classed with others.

This is sad Joanie. We always talk about the death of innocence in relation to children, but it's the same for adults too.
