Hi Kevin, I've just found this buried away in the archive- and had a good look at it. It's a one act you say- I didn't read that til afterwards, and found myself wondering what happens in act 2! It feels very much as if a lot of what's going on here in this first act is setting up for something much bigger to happen- I don't mean train crash big, but emotionally between the brothers. Obviously something deep has caused the chasm between them- is it just the fact that David had the money spent on him while Pete has had a tough time (apart from the money he got to invest in his business)? I think there's some good characterisation, some real moments of truth and subtlety, but it feels like there's quite a bit of repetition and for me, it's taking too long at present to get to a sense of the stakes being high for all of them. The Alice subplot is nicely bubbling away, and the way things get revealed works well. Any thoughts about making more of this? (perhaps you have, for all I know.)
