WIND

Caressing the grass like thin fingers through light hair
Beckoning the tired leaves to join it in its flight
Chasing fleeing waves on a journey without end
Shepherding lost clouds towards a field for them to rest

Tempting lonely tree’s to lay down their idle bough
Dancing with the rain as it puts the day to sleep
Talking with the thunder as it points the way to go
Sleeping as the morning brings forth its radiant glow.

Beautiful. Reminds me of my three sanctuaries. I think i'll pay one of them a visit this weekend. Thanks for this,

Woz

Hi Paul, a gentle wind, not much written about - one tends to imagine the wind tearing wildly through the trees leaving them shredded, so this is a surprise, a different way of seeing, and I always love that. I especially like Shepherding lost clouds towards a field for them to rest... I see sheep, heavenly ones, much quieter than the sheep where I walk in the morning, who all start calling out as we walk by.

One tiny typo for you: tree's (trees)

Good work.

Nell.

It's all been said, a great take on one of nature's less visible elements.

Guys, thank you all very much. There is something very base and haunting about a quiet, empty day and a breeze swimming with us.
