So many things to do,
elbowing for attention,
stretching the boundaries
of capability.

Must stop, to prioritise -
tackle them bitesize,
take stock, shuffle them
into an orderley queue,
make them wait
until their time is due.

Right, enough of that,
must dash,
so many things to do.

Walrus,

Very clever one. I enjoyed this. It's well paced. The first and last stanzas rush, and the middle one, with its commas, is slower, calmer. Then it breaks into a rush again!

Oh, wow, Walrus! Don't I know it! I write lists and include things I have already done so that I can cross them off! I have a mental list already for tomorrow and Sunday and next week, and for July........... silly! ...not your poem! I like it.

Fabulous hospitality, yes, for sure.

Perspective, deceleration, then acceleration are what I see, similar to Ani's experience of your lyric.

The second stanza brings to mind a production line - all busy bits, etc.

Liked it.

Write on, Fearless
