With the words I can’t find,
I am writing to you,
the voice I have lost,
reeling in my head,
with memories of yesterday.
With the words I can’t find,
I’m trying to describe,
ev’rything I think,
ev’rything I feel,
by me, your picture on the floor.
With the words I can’t find,
I want to make it straight,
simple in my mind,
write it down for you,
in a letter you may not get.
I am writing to you,
the voice I have lost,
reeling in my head,
with memories of yesterday.
With the words I can’t find,
I’m trying to describe,
ev’rything I think,
ev’rything I feel,
by me, your picture on the floor.
With the words I can’t find,
I want to make it straight,
simple in my mind,
write it down for you,
in a letter you may not get.
