This love thing

Feelings never felt
before,
thoughts never thought.
A new world
reveals itself,
unfurls before unbelieving eyes,
and I understand the words
spoken by others
as if hearing
for the first time.
They were right
after all,
it seems.

I love you.

A poem laden with beaty and emotional honesty - it seems to gather pace like heartbeats until those three words that act as the ultimate enslavement, but also the ultimate release.

Bobo very enigmatic and emotional beauty

I wonder however if you had thought about changing the first two lines as follows


Thoughts never thought
before.
feelings never felt

I only make the suggestion because I struggled a little with the thoughts line as it is but perhaps that is just me.

never the less a fine poem I should be very happy if soembody said those words to me

As you say Bobo, something a bit different... beautiful in its simplicity. It could almost be called Realisation - to me that seems the crux of the poem.
