Captivity

The monkey of mind

the touch of monkey.

Hi John

This is really interesting and I like it. Good symbolism which deserved several re-reads. A poem that made me think about its meaning.

John, the extraordinarily original idea at the heart of this poem has knocked me sideways, in fact it has made me feel quite odd. And yet the truth of it seems so exact that it's a miracle it has never been expressed in this way before. The last line is poignant, perfect.

Nell.
