Just One Day

Is life a lifetime
Or can we live a life in just one day
An hour, a moment, a fleeting glance
Is enough for me to say
That meteorite, that cosmic blow
One night you swung my way
For me a lifetime long will last
Though you passed in just one day

Perhaps our lives are made up of a series of microcosms? Interesting thought.

Enjoyed reading and wondering about this piece.

Carlton..Takes just a moment to fall in love and lifetime being lovers. Enjoy life to the full, you only get one shot at it. Believe me,love is worth the wait and worth the passion that follows.

Nice one Carlton. A day to us may be be a lifetime to others and vice versa - this is what it's saying to me. Nice works!

Thanks

Carlton

I enjoyed this very much. We can have the most life altering things happen to us in just one day which can shape the rest of our lives.

Great poem.
