Unforgiven

Vagrant fear
strengthened
by the cold misty breath
of yesterday's failures -
neatly tethered
with the undone pledge
of Fidelity.

Crying oceans
of regret,
you seek redemption
in my features -
do the eyes soften
with good-time memories?
Does Another Chance
exist?

The weight
of needy expectation
is heavy on tired shoulders -
the chord is cut
and now you must journey
Alone.

There is a lot of strength in this Bobo, especially the last part
the chord is cut
and now you must journey
Alone.

Bobo great to see you back.
Strong and powerful poem here and as usual very well written.
Every stanza said it all and with such feeling.

Well done
