I want to make you smile.
Just give me a moment
I know your time is precious
But trust me
You will soon have a
Ten to two face

Have you ever watched the sunrise?
Heard a newborn baby cry?
Or been tickled till your breathless?
If you haven’t, it’s worth a try

Look through old photos
Did you really wear that dress?
Check out that 70’s hair do
Oh, what a mess!

Are you smiling?

You should be.
Even if you couldn’t relate
To any of the above
Just take a few seconds
To remember
Your favourite memory

I think we’re nearly there.
You look as if you have
A quarter to three face now

But if none of the above has worked
Don’t fret
This will

Somebody loves you
I promise
That somewhere
Near or far
Somebody loves you.

There you go

I think its ten to two.

I liked it, but only 'cos I've no idea how to write poetry, so I'll admire all you who can and enjoy this for happy-value!

Hi James, and thank you very much. Trust me, not so long ago, I thought I had no idea how to write poetry either. But then one day, it just sort of all flowed out of me! Its a great way of expressing your emotions..maybe you will consider trying it out in the future.
All the best,
Stacey.

Nope, I never wore that dress.
But I did get the smile. Perhaps even five to one for a second.
Top poem, Stacey.
Regards
Noddy
