Your sweet as pie
You cheer me up whenever i cry,
When im away in a different town
You fill me with joy all around.

When we first kissed
It was like love thats never missed,
I want your love forever
Because your my only lover.

Each day we grow closer
The love does not lower,
For everyday we are apart
Is like a stab in the heart.

Hi Polly

I liked your poem - like you say, short and sweet.

It sounds patronising, and I don't mean to be, but it reminds me of stuff I wrote when I was 14 (a long time ago!)

I read some of your other poems - very emotional, painful and scary, put very powerful too.

Keep on writing, because I think (from personal experience) it's good to get these feelings out.

An English teacher of mine once told me to try writing about things outside of my own self - i.e. work, the town where I lived - as this encourages you to expand your creative skills.

keep on writing.

Amos
